Information for First-Time Students

  • All classes are 90 minutes long.
  • New students please arrive at least 15 minutes before class.
  • Practice on an empty stomach: Try not to eat approximately 3 hours before class time. Play it safe for your first class, and as you become familiar with the practice, you will learn what suits your body best in terms of how long before and what to eat before class.
  • You will need a mat, towel and bottled water during class. Please no glass water bottles of any kind inside the studio. We rent mats and towels and sell water at the studio. With a purchase of an Intro Special use of a mat and towel is complimentary for your first class.
  • We have showers in both the men's and women's changing rooms.
  • Drink plenty of water during the day you plan to come to class (and every day!).
  • Wear something you'll feel comfortable sweating in. Women wear sports tops with leggings/shorts or bathing suits. Men wear shorts or swim suits.
  • You don't have to be flexible to do yoga! Just bring an open mind and a willingness to change - the yoga will do the rest.
